Match-day information: Super Saturday

A new exciting season of rugby league gets underway this Saturday when Newcastle Thunder take on Doncaster RLFC as part of an exciting double header day at Kingston Park Stadium.

It promises to be an exciting afternoon of rugby league in the North East, with this the important match day information to make the most of your day.

Fixtures – Tickets for Saturday grant access to both of the days games. Newcastle Thunder v Doncaster (KO 2:30pm) and Toronto Wolfpack v Widnes Vikings (KO 5pm)

Ticket sales – Advanced ticket sales are available now, with adult tickets priced at £20, concessions at £15 and Under 16s priced at £10

Gates opening & entry – Turnstiles to gain entry to Kingston Park Stadium will be open from 13:00

Supporter Accommodation – Spectators will watch the match from the West side of the ground. Please sit in the seat for which your ticket is valid for. Please follow directions from the Stewarding team when taking your seats.

Ground entry – Entry to the stadium will be via West Stand turnstiles for match ticket. Hospitality guests will enter via the main West Stand doors.

Parking – The Kingston Park car park will be open for this fixture, with spaces available for over 400 vehicles on a first come first served basis.

On site car parking is £5 for this fixture

Club Shops – Located on the ground floor of the East Stand and in the West Stand concourse, the club shops will be open from 13:00 and is already stocked with some great items from Thunder’s 2019 ISC range including the brand new 2019 home and away jerseys.

Already in store are new season’s tech pro hoodies, polo shirts and training tops, while new look stadium jackets, bobble hats and coaches jackets are sure to prove popular for the early games of the season.

Bars & Food – The East Stand Tap & Tackle bar will be open from 10:00 serving a wide range of food and drinks.

West Stand concourse bars and food kiosks in the West Stand will open at 13:00, serving stadium staples of tasty burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches and chips.

Additional food kiosks will be available inside the stadium bowl.

The East Stand “Tap & Tackle” is closed to supporters post match for a private function.

Post Match – The West Stand concourse will be the focus of events after the match, with the venue open until 11 pm.

Live music will be provided throughout the afternoon by superb trio Sophistrio.

Supporters will also be able to hear from the Man of the Match and from head coach Jason Payne shortly after the full-time whistle
