Match Day Information – Hemel Stags friendly General February 2, 2018 Newcastle Thunder’s preparations for the new Betfred League 1 season continue this Saturday when they face Hemel Stags in a pre-season friendly at Kingston Park Stadium. It promises to be an exciting evening of rugby league in the North East, with this the important match day information to make the most of your day. Kick off – Saturday’s game kicks off at 18:00 Ticket sales –ticket sales are available now with adult seated tickets priced at £12 adults and £5 for kids To book tickets, click here, call 0871 2266060 or visit the Kingston Park Stadium box office Pre-match – Ahead of Thunder’s friendly against Hemel, Newcastle Falcons will play Gloucester in rugby union’s Anglo-Welsh Cup. Supporters wishing to attend both fixtures should purchase tickets for the Falcons game, which will grant entry into the Thunder match. Gates opening & entry – Turnstiles to gain entry to Kingston Park Stadium for supporters attending both games will be open from 13:30. Supporters with tickets for just the Newcastle Thunder fixture will be able to gain entry to the stadium from 16:30. Ground entry – Entry to the stadium will be via East Stand turnstiles for match ticket and season ticket holders. Hospitality guests will enter via the main East Stand doors. Club Shop – Located on the ground floor of the East Stand, the club shop will be open from 10:00 and is already stocked with some great items from Thunder’s 2018 ISC range. Already in store are new season hoodies, polo shirts, and training vests, while new-look stadium jackets and Thunder bobble hats are sure to prove popular for the early games of the season. Supporter Accommodation – Spectators will watch the match from the East side of the ground. Seating and standing areas are available with specific tickets sold for each. Please follow directions from the Stewarding team when taking your seats. Bars & Food – The East Stand “Tap & Tackle” will be open from 10:00 serving a wide range of food and drinks while during the game, Kingston Park’s Bus Bar will also be open to provide plenty of points from which to get refreshments. One of Angel Street Foods popular mobile vans will also be open in the South East corner to provide further delicious food options. Post Match – The Tap & Tackle will be the focus of events after the match, with the venue open until 11 pm. Supporters will also be able to hear from the Man of the Match and from head coach Jason Payne shortly after the full-time whistle.
