Challenge Cup round four General February 17, 2020 Newcastle Thunder’s fourth round clash with Siddal ARLFC will take place this coming Saturday afternoon, with a 2pm kick off. Simon Finnigan’s side progressed to the next stage of this year’s competition with a dogged 12-16 win over Keighley Cougars last weekend and are now keenly awaiting this weekend’s game. Siddal will provide Newcastle with a stern test of their credentials, with the amateur side having a habit of running teams close in the cup. Over the years this has included knocking Thunder out at the third-round stage in 2016 and only narrowly losing to Toronto Wolfpack in the same competition in 2017. Taking place at Chevinedge, admission to the match will be just £2.50 and with the ground being just over two hours away, it is hoped a strong Thunder contingent will make their way down to support the team.
