KICK OFF CHANGE – North Wales now at 2pm

Newcastle Thunder’s home game against North Wales Crusaders will kick off an hour earlier on July 15th, allowing the club to avoid a clash with the FIFA World Cup Final.

Originally set to kick off at 3pm, that start time would have seen the second half at Kingston Park played as the match in Russia kicked off.

Now thanks to the cooperation of the Crusaders, the Thunder game will now kick off at 2pm, allowing on-field matters to be finished ahead of final.

Following a successful response to the club screening the England v Panama game ahead of the Coventry Bears game, Thunder are pleased to confirm that the final will be screened with happy hour prices running following full time in the North Wales match.

Thunder head into the match looking to get back to winning ways after losses against Betfred League 1’s leading lights Bradford and York City Knights, with a place in the promotion play-offs still firmly within their grasps.

Thunder dominated large spells of the matches away to the teams sat first and second in the table and will be looking to build on that form for the visit of North Wales.

Advanced tickets for the game are available to book now by clicking here, calling 0871 2266060 or by visiting the stadium box office.

Advanced prices will be valid until midnight on Saturday, July 14 after which time, full match-day pricing will apply.
