Nations set to learn World Cup challengers General January 16, 2020 Buckingham Palace will host the draws for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup this lunchtime as the competing nations learn who they will face in the opening stages of their quest for glory next Autumn. Hosted by respected broadcasters Seema Jaswal and Dave Woods and conducted by RFL patron HRH the Duke of Sussex, the draws will be broadcast via RLWC 2021 social media channels allowing fans to see who will face who as they are drawn. RLWC 2021 will kick off in the North East in October next year when Newcastle hosts both the opening ceremony and the first match of the competition when England will play at St James’ Park on Saturday October 23. It will be the first of a total of five games in the region, with three games in the men’s competition at be held at Kingston Park Stadium and a further fixture at the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough.
