Nutrition X Selected to Fuel Season for Newcastle Thunder

Nutrition X have strengthened their partnership with Newcastle Rugby Ltd by becoming the official nutrition supplier to Newcastle Thunder rugby league club.

Already in the second year of their partnership with Aviva Premiership rugby union club Newcastle Falcons, Nutrition X are now fuelling players of both codes with their range of scientifically-formulated energy, recovery and hydration products.

Having worked closely with the specialist brand throughout last season, Newcastle Falcons decided to carry on their partnership with Nutrition X once again this year thanks to the impressive range of Informed-Sport accredited products that Nutrition X offers.

With each product scientifically developed by Nutrition X’s team of leading sports nutritionists, every care is taken to ensure the utmost in quality and supplement safety; a major factor that attracted Newcastle Thunder to begin working with them this season, too.

Nutrition X will be working closely with each of the clubs’ strength and conditioning coaches to develop nutrition programmes for each of the players that will ensure that they’re receiving the correct support they need to be fighting fit come match day, focusing chiefly on energy, hydration, and muscle recovery.

Products set to be used by both Newcastle Falcons and Newcastle Thunder players over the coming season include Hydra+, Nutrition X’s brand-new effervescent hydration tablet that will provide the players with a fast-acting hydration solution during intense games, as well as Big Whey, Nutrition X’s best-selling protein formula, promoting the recovery, rebuilding and toning of muscle tissue to minimise the risk of injury.

James Markey, managing director of Nutrition X, commented on the new partnership:

“It goes without saying that we’re absolutely thrilled, not only to be continuing our nutrition partnership with Newcastle Falcons but to be working with Newcastle Thunder for the first time this season.

“We’ve hugely enjoyed getting to know the Falcons and the nutritional needs of each of the players over the past year, and are really looking forward to seeing how both clubs progress over the next few months. We wish them both the best of luck!”
