U16 Academy squad announced for West Wales Raiders clash

Newcastle Thunder have named a 25 man U16 squad to take on West Wales Raiders U16’s. The squad made up from players from across six North East clubs and the work from Thunder’s development day’s in Cumbria paying off with representation from West Cumbrian side Seaton Rangers.

The game will take place on Sunday at 12:30 and following the match will be the awards day.

Reflecting on a successful season coach Jordan Robinson had this to say “The development across the board has been massive with this group and Sunday will be a chance to celebrate the achievements from an outstanding year. This will be the last U16’s game for a lot of the players before they progress into the  full time environment of the U19’s so it would be great to end the season off in style.”
