Equally adept in the back row and at hooker, he is a versatile player who will offer head coach Jason Payne numerous options throughout the season. Jason Payne said: “I’m delighted Aaron has re-signed for 2018, he has considerable experience at a very high level which added a great deal to our squad last season and he will complement that being brought in by the likes of Remy (Marginet) and Liam (Finn). “His versatility to be able to play in the middle, back row and at hooker gives us plenty of options. He is a very good player and an even better person with a great attitude and has already made a big impact at training.” Ollett is signing number 14 for the 2019 Thunder squad, with Jack Aldous, Jared Blanke, Keal Carlile, Rhys Clarke, Liam Finn, Sam Luckley, Remy Marginet, Liam McAvoy, Alex Rowe, Niall Sidney, Evan Simons, David Weetman and Lewis Young already confirmed.
