With the 2020 season just about to explode into life, player sponsorships at Newcastle Thunder are proving popular with fans and businesses alike.

With proven internationals, established Thunder favourites and exciting new talents forming the new-look squad, player sponsorships for the upcoming season are set to provide exciting opportunities for businesses and supporters to align themselves with the on-field action.

12 of the 29-man squad have already been chosen by companies and individuals keen to associate with talent members of a Newcastle sporting club with ambition and passion, with Kieran Gill, Evan Simons, Mikey Wood and Lewis Young among those already taken.

Player sponsorships for first team players start from just £200 (+ VAT) and provide a range of entitlements to build links between the sponsor and the club whilst offering excellent awareness raising opportunities with a committed and engaged base of supporters.

Entitlements of 2020 Thunder player sponsorships include:

  • Company logo on the player profile page at
  • Entered into a draw to be one of our 10 home game match sponsors
  • Company name on match day team sheets
  • Company name announced when sponsored player scores
  • Company logo on stadium big screen scoring graphics
  • Company logo on scoring graphics used in live Twitter commentaries and social media updates, reaching in excess of 20,000 followers
  • Presented with a signed jersey at the end of the 2020 season
  • Access to match tickets for home games
  • Hospitality tickets for day one of the Dacia Magic Weekend at St James’ Park.
