FOUNDATION SET FOR LOCKDOWN LEARNING

Newcastle Thunder and Newcastle Falcons will launch a free weekly activity programme from January 25 to keep young people and families engaged during the lockdown period.

Through the joint Newcastle Rugby Foundation, these activities will be posted on our social media pages each day, he links for which can be found at the bottom of this story.

Further details and downloadable resources will be available on both club websites from Monday morning, and keep an eye on our social media pages for updates on our upcoming learning activities.

As well as fun, physical and skill challenges, the club understand the pressure on teachers and parents to keep children engaged in learning during this latest lockdown, and we want to help.

Home-schooling can be a struggle, and we hope that these new online activities will help engage, educate and entertain children whilst at home.

We want to see as many of you taking part in our activity programme, you can share your efforts from your Thunderdome with us at Kingston Park by tagging us in on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
