MAGIC WEEKEND CREDIT OPTIONS CONFIRMED General February 3, 2021 Newcastle Thunder have confirmed the options open to purchasers of tickets for the 2020 Dacia Magic Weekend via the Kingston Park Stadium box office. Scheduled to be held at St James’ Park on May 23-24 2020, those who purchased tickets through Thunder can: Transfer their ticket(s) to the 2021 Dacia Magic Weekend on May 29-30Claim the refund of the value of thier purchase for the cancelled 2020 event. The 2021 Magic Weekend is scheduled to take place over the weekend of May 29-30 with Newcastle once again the hosts for the annual Super League extravaganza If you wish to attend this event, you do not need to do anything. Your booking will automatically be migrated to the 2021 Magic Weekend by the Super League ticketing team, with passes to be sent out nearer to the games. Supporters who wish to claim a full refund on the value of their tickets can do so by emailing [email protected] with the subject line of MATCH REFUNDS. Requests for refunds must be made by the original ticket purchaser. With the current Covid-19 situation constantly evolving, supporters can opt to have their tickets refunded up to and including May 17th, beyond this date a refund will not be able to be claimed if the event goes ahead. Dacia Magic Weekend Refund FAQs Q. Will my 2020 ticket(s) be valid for Dacia Magic Weekend 2021? Yes as per the RFL ticketing terms and conditions your existing tickets will remain valid for the event in 2021 and you don’t need to do anything. Q. I know I don’t want to attend the event in 2021. When can I request a refund? Given the unprecedented circumstances, we understand that some fans may be eager to receive their money back as soon as possible. Ticket purchasers are able to apply for a refund until midnight 17 May 2021. Correspondence relating to refunds must be marked ‘MATCH REFUNDS’ and e-mailed to [email protected] The request must be made by the person who purchased the tickets (account holder) and approved refunds will be authorised to the payment card only. The name and address of the person who made the original booking must be supplied in BLOCK CAPITALS for a refund to be given. You must also include either your order or customer reference number and stipulate that you bought tickets for Dacia Magic Weekend. As no tickets for 2020 events were issued you are not required to return any printed tickets. PLEASE NOTE: If a ticket purchaser hasn’t claimed a refund or credit note by midnight on 17 May 2021 the booking will be transferred to Dacia Magic Weekend 2021.
