Newcastle Thunder will host Leeds Rhinos on Sunday in their last friendly before the new Betfred League 1 season gets under way, KO 3pm

Simon Finnigan has named a 25-man squad for the game as he continues his preparations for the competitive action to start in February and over 700 tickets have been sold as fans flok to see the new look Thunder in action..

Ticket sales – Tickets can be booked in advance or on the day, Full match prices are adults £15, concessions at £13 and Under 16s at £3, with all adult and concession tickets booked by midnight on Saturday 25th January benefiting from a £5 discount.

Season ticket holders for whom the game is included in their 2020 membership have been sent an individual match ticket for this fixture.

Pre-Match curtain raiser: Starting the day, Thunder’s junior development side will take on their Hull FC counterparts at 12:00 before the Thunder Community Programme host a year 7s schools festival from 13:00.

Gates opening & entry – Turnstiles to gain entry to Kingston Park Stadium will be open from 13:00. Supporters wishing to watch the pre-match curtain raiser should enter via the Tap & Tackle.

Supporter Accommodation – Spectators will watch the match from the East stand of the ground. Reserved seating is in place in southern and central blocks of the East Stand, with unreserved seating available in the northern block.

Please follow directions from the Stewarding team when taking your seats. Standing tickets will also be situated along the east perimeter of the pitch side.

Ground entry – Entry to the stadium will be via East Stand turnstiles.

Parking – The Kingston Park car park will be open for this fixture, with spaces available for over 400 vehicles on a first come first served basis.

On site car parking is free for this fixture.

Club Shop – Located on the ground floor of the East Stand, the club shops will be open from 10:00 and is already stocked with some great items from Thunder’s superb 2020 Macron range including the brand new home and away jerseys.

Bars & Food – The East Stand Tap & Tackle bar will be open from 09:00 serving a wide range of food and drinks.

Post Match – The East Stand will be the focus of events after the match, with the venue open until 10pm
