19-man squad named for Workington

French international scum-half Remy Marginet is in line to make his first appearance for Newcastle Thunder this weekend, as the club’s new signing is immediately drafted into the 19-man squad for Sunday’s trip to Workington (KO 3pm)

Marginet is one of three changes to the playing pool announced for last weekend’s match against Bradford, with Ben Calland and Ben Pointer the other new faces drafted in.

Having put in one of their strongest performances of the season to date in front of a crowd of 4,137 fans at Kingston Park Stadium, Jason Payne will be calling on his side to use that momentum as the look for a result in West Cumbria.
